A Unique Adventure
Texas is unique in that it's flats can be very shallow, and yet still have the deep Gulf be very accessible not to far away. Often times, we are poling through 4-7" of water looking for fish way back in the marsh and then later in the day we could be catching Jack Crevalle in the deep waters! Redfish are fairly prolific most of the year with lots of opportunities at Black Drum and Speckled Trout . As the water warms in spring/summer, we see bursts of black drum, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel, Tarpon, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, an odd Snook or two and of course Bull Reds coming in and out near the Gulf with the tides. It is some of the finest fishing in the great, big state of Texas.
